- ■Required Items
- We will ask you to provide a copy of your identification (health insurance card, driver's license, etc.) only for your first visit.
- ■Rental Details
- ① Subscription members can rent items from our company by following the procedures we specify. The number of items a member can rent simultaneously will be based on the monthly plan set by our company.
② We will ship the selected rental items to the delivery address registered by the member.
③ After receiving the return of rental items from the subscription member and confirming the return, we will ship the next rental items. Members may not rent additional items until the return confirmation process for the previous rental is completed.
④ In addition to the above, subscription members will use the rental service in accordance with other rental conditions separately provided by our company.
- ■Rental period
- The usage period for the subscription service will be 30 days, starting from the activation date.
- ■Other Terms and Conditions
- The monthly service subscription will automatically renew under the same terms and conditions every 30 days.
- ■Shipping
- ① Delivery is limited to within Japan.
② The delivery of rental items to subscription members and the return of items from the subscription member to our company will be handled by the delivery carrier designated by us.
③ Upon receiving the rented items from our company, the subscription member must immediately check for any defects (such as fraying, damage, stains, or scratches) on the items. If any defects are found, the subscription member must notify us within 3 days of receiving the items.
④ Upon receiving returned items from the subscription member, we will promptly check for any defects.
⑤ If the subscription member does not notify us of any defects within the period specified in Item 3, and defects are found during the inspection as outlined in Item 4, those defects will be considered to have occurred after the subscription member received the items.
- ■Purchase of Products
- ① Subscription members may purchase rental items they are currently renting from us in their current condition, following the procedures and conditions designated by our company.
② If a subscription member wishes to purchase a rented item based on the previous section, the price will be determined through negotiations with us.
③ In the case of purchasing an item as per the previous section, we will cover the shipping and other associated costs.
④ We do not accept returns or refunds after the purchase of an item.
- ■Usage fees
- ① The usage fees for this service (subscription fees) and their payment methods are as specified in these terms and conditions and any other methods separately determined by our company.
② The subscription fees for this service are calculated on a monthly basis.
③ The subscription fees for this service will be charged even if the member does not rent any items after the subscription fee start date.
④ The usage fees for this service can only be paid via a credit card issued by a domestic card company in Japan and registered by the member (referred to as “registered credit card”). Other payment methods are not accepted. Debit cards, credit cards with debit functionality, and internationally issued credit cards are not accepted.
⑤ Notwithstanding the previous section, if our company deems necessary, we may notify the member of an alternative payment method, in which case the member may pay the usage fees using the notified method.
⑥ The usage fees paid by the member are non-refundable, regardless of the reason.
- ■Product Exchange
- Members can exchange a quantity of products according to their contract terms, free of charge, once per month starting from the date of their initial subscription to the flat-rate service.
- ■Changes to the Flat-Rate Service
- ① Members may change their subscription plan at any time. In this case, the current service contract will be canceled, and by subscribing to the desired plan, the changes will be applied from that day. However, if the member still has the product, the next item will be shipped once the return confirmation is completed.
② If the next payment date has passed, the current service will be automatically renewed. Therefore, please cancel the current service plan before the next payment date. Refunds will not be provided after renewal, so please be aware of this in advance.
- ■Compensation and Liability for Loss or Damage of Goods
- ① If the returned product has accidental stains or damage that can be repaired through our internal maintenance, no charge will be made.
Note: A maximum cleaning and maintenance fee of ¥3,000 (excluding tax) is set. Any cleaning, maintenance, or repair costs exceeding this amount will be borne by the customer. Maintenance and repair costs will be reported within approximately 14 days after the product is returned. If the customer opts for insurance at ¥1,000 (excluding tax), the maintenance cost limit will be set at ¥15,000 (excluding tax). If costs exceed this amount, the customer will be billed for the amount exceeding ¥15,000 (excluding tax).
② If the product is lost or stolen between the date of delivery and the return date, the member must notify us immediately.
③ If the product is lost or stolen during the above-mentioned period, the member must submit a loss report or a police report at the nearest police station and notify us of the details of the report.
④ Whether compensation or reimbursement is necessary will be determined at our discretion according to the following conditions. If the product has an irreparable defect or if it becomes impossible to return the item due to loss or theft, the member will be considered to have purchased the product, and will be required to pay the compensation fee. The compensation fee will be 50% of the product’s retail price (excluding tax) as determined by our company.
- ■Changes, Suspension, and Termination of Services
- ① We reserve the right to modify or add to the content of the Service, in whole or in part, without prior notice to members.
② We may temporarily suspend all or part of the Service without prior notice to members in the following cases:
・When the provision of the Service becomes difficult due to force majeure, such as natural disasters.
・When the provision of the Service becomes difficult due to unforeseen incidents such as fire, power outages, or accidents, as well as war, conflict, civil unrest, riots, or labor disputes.
・When the operation of the Service is rendered impossible due to laws, regulations, or measures based on them.
・In other cases deemed necessary by us, consistent with the above provisions.
③ We assume no responsibility for any damages incurred by members as a result of measures taken under this article.
- ■Cancellation of membership
- ① Members may cancel their membership at any time. (However, cancellation is not allowed within the first six months of use.) A member who cancels their membership will no longer be able to use the service from the point of cancellation.
② If a member loses their right to use the service, the member acknowledges in advance that they will no longer be able to use any accumulated information in the service.
③ Even after cancellation of membership, members are not relieved from any obligations or debts (including damages, but not limited to them) under this agreement with us or third parties.
④ We reserve the right to retain and use any information obtained about the member even after they cancel their membership.
⑤ If a member wishes to use the service again after cancellation, they must re-register as a new member. The member acknowledges in advance that previous data will not be carried over upon re-registration.
- ■Compensation
- ① If a member causes direct or indirect damage to our company due to a violation of these terms and conditions or other use of the service (including cases in which our company receives a claim for damages or other claims from a third party due to such act), the member must compensate our company for all damages (including legal and other expert fees and personnel costs incurred by our company in responding to the claim).
② Our company shall not be liable for any damages suffered by a member in connection with the use of the service. However, if our company is guilty of willful misconduct or gross negligence, our company shall only compensate the member for direct and ordinary damages actually incurred.
- ■Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
- ① We shall not be held responsible for any damage incurred by the member due to the following circumstances. Furthermore, the member’s obligation to pay the usage fee will not be waived, and no refund will be made for any fees already paid by the member:
・In the event of a delay, incorrect delivery, or non-delivery of goods due to reasons that are not caused by our company or the shipping carrier’s intentional or gross negligence.
・In cases where there is an error in the registration information provided by the member (e.g., name, shipping address, phone number), except in cases where we are at fault. This also applies if the member failed to update their registration information despite any changes.
・If the member cannot rent the desired item because it is currently rented by another member.
② We do not guarantee the utility, suitability, or any other quality aspects of the rented products. The member agrees to use the rented products at their own responsibility.
- ■Prohibition of Assignment of Rights and Obligations
- ① Except with our prior written consent, the member shall not transfer, assign, pledge, or otherwise dispose of any of their rights or obligations under this agreement, or their position under this agreement, to any third party.
② In the event that we transfer our business related to the service to a third party, or in the case of a dissolution, division, merger, or company split, where the business related to the service is transferred to a successor, we may transfer the position, rights, and obligations under the utilization contract, along with member information and other data related to the member, to the transferee or successor of the business. The member agrees to this in advance.
- ■Response During holidays
- On our designated holidays, product shipments and responses to inquiries will be handled the next business day.
- ■Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- The governing law of this agreement shall be Japanese law. Any disputes arising between the company and the member in relation to this service or these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Kyoto District Court as the court of first instance.
